Important
Cambodia importers need to provide company full details to check for acceptance before booking.
Before booking, import licenses/permit require for below goods
- Used Computer / Used computer parts
- Telecommunication Goods
- Medicine
- Chemicals
- Religious books
Diplomatic goods and Embassy’s cargo prohibited to ship
Importers must register with Cambodia’s Department of Business Registration, which falls under the Ministry of Commerce. This registration enables them to engage in international business activities.
Additionally, a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) is necessary. To obtain a TIN, importers and exporters should register with the General Department of Taxation under the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Imports
The below documents are needed:
- Bill of Lading / Air Waybill
- Original Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- For certain goods, a imxport license is required
- Certificate of Origin approved by Chamber of Commerce (if any)
*All imported goods might be inspected by Customs Authorities
Exports
Exporters need to include the following documents with their goods:
- Original Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- For certain goods, a strategic export license is required.
Other documents that could be required would depend on the specific requirements of the destinations.
