To apply for an import license, you need to follow these steps:

  • Register as a company authorized to engage in international trade with the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA)4 and the Department of Trade.
  • Join the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI).
  • Access the Tradenet 2.0 online system7 and log in with your registered email and password.
  • Select the type of license you want to apply for (oversea or land border) and fill up the application form with the required information, such as HS code, description, price, quantity, and value of the import products.
  • Upload the related documents and supporting documents, such as invoice, sale contract, and OGA recommendation, as the attached files.
